Arcarius is a start-up that produces luxury high-tech safes, finely crafted for luxury hotels. VRD was commissioned to develop the design of these safes with the aim of establishing new standards of experience and innovation.
The project resulted in the realisation of the start-up’s vision, with products offering an unprecedented level of service to guests at luxury hotels. Beyond the simple security of their personal effects, attention was paid to creating a bespoke and ritualistic experience that fosters empathy with these discerning travellers.
We supported Arcarius in the complete design of all the safes, including industrialisation and production support, by integrating the best Italian craftsmanship with advanced German security systems. All the safes are equipped with real-time monitoring via the Arcarius app, an innovative and user-friendly interface, chargers, watch winders, and are able to detect any object left inside and alert customers before they leave the hotel.
